John H. Mitchell Television Collection

The John H. Mitchell Television Collection at the UCLA Film & Television Archive documents the entire course of broadcast history: it includes the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences/UCLA Collection of Historic Television, donations from the Hallmark Hall of Fame, Jack Benny, Milton Berle, Carol Burnett and Loretta Young, and a collection of milestones in the history of television technology. The television collection was renamed in 2019 in honor of an endowment from John H. Mitchell and Patricia W. Mitchell. Learn more about their generous contribution.

These collection profiles represent only a partial listing of the Archive's many significant collections.
