A message for our patrons

UCLA Chancellor Gene Block informed the campus community that effective March 11, UCLA is transitioning to remote learning platforms and limiting the number of people on campus in order to curb the spread of COVID-19.

The UCLA Film & Television Archive will not be resuming its regular programming at the Billy Wilder Theater in 2020 as we are guided by our priority of mitigating risk to our staff and patrons. Meanwhile, our programmers, archivists, preservationists and staff are curating virtual programs and film recommendations to keep you connected to historic and important moving image media. We invite you to subscribe to our email newsletter for updates about our virtual programs and other announcements.

The Archive Research and Study Center is also currently closed. There will be no viewing appointments at the Instructional Media Lab until further notice.
