Surrounded by a group of children, reporter Jan Mitagawa interviews Mayor Tom Bradley about the current long-running strike of bus drivers and how it might impact Proposition A, a ballot measure regarding mass transit. Bradley talks about the drivers being ready to vote on a contract, which could mean an end to the strike in the next several days, as well as the need to prevent work stoppages that impact the health and welfare of residents. He also discusses his belief the people will support Proposition A on election day, despite the current strike, because the area needs rapid transit. Includes shots with ambient sound featuring the crowd of children and their parents.
