Three and a Half (Iran, 2011)

Three young women, prisoners on temporary leave, plot to escape from Iran across the northern border, making arrangements with a crew of shady characters who are supposed to help them. Nearing their goal, they face mounting dangers and doubts, especially when one learns a secret that darkens her hopeful outlook. A superb cast brings to life the theme of freedom pursued at all cost.
