The C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles, in conjunction with over 600 individuals and several organizations throughout the world filmed 35 individuals over a 30-year period who had a close personal relationship with noted Swiss psychiatrist, and founder of analytical psychology, C.G. Jung (1875-1961). The first film project prepared was the feature length documentary entitled Matter of Heart (1985), which used excerpts from many of the interviews. The theme of the film includes a very personal view of Jung and the development of his work and his close relationships, as well as an emphasis on his concern for the survival of the planet.

The second film project was the creation of an edited version of the original interviews, each an hour long to create a series for the public titled Remembering Jung (1990). Filmed or videotaped interviews edited for Remembering Jung include the following individuals: Gerhard Adler, Ph.D., Mary Bancroft, Dieter Baumann, M.D., Wolf Baumann, Heinrich Fiera, M.D. Liliane Frey, Ph.D., Barbara Hannah, Joseph Henderson, M.D., Aniela Jaffe, Hilde Kirsch, James Kirsch, M.D., Rivkah Kluger, Ph.D., Yehekel Kluger, William McGuire, C.A.
