Synopsis

In a press conference at the Greater LA Press Club, leaders from Black and Jewish organizations criticize the leadership of the Los Angeles School Board and its recent actions that have negatively impacted efforts related to integration and busing. The speakers emphasize the need for quality, integrated public education and improved leadership from the Los Angeles School Board to counter resistance to busing. One of the speakers on the panel is John Mack, President of the Los Angeles chapter of the Urban League.
