Announcer introduction: "Molly Goldberg is really beginning to lose her head now... Her lack of judgement in giving Grace the chance to reforme has forced Molly into one subterfuge after another, but the last one was the worst and most serious for Grace has made a getaway with some community money entrusted to her. No one in town knows that Grace isn't Molly's daughter-in-law... no one in town knows that Grace has skipped... or that her husband George is with her... Now Molly and her family have to make good the money and tell the whole story... It's not a pleasant prospect to face... to make it worst, the County District Attorney, heard of the Lastenbury delinquent committee, and he personally came over and gave a $500 contribution on behalf of the county. Molly was so dumbfounded she took the money, although she knew that it was under false pretenses... and now... Listen..."

Announcer close: "Birdie's eyes are wide open, and her mouth is open wider... the town megaphone and general gossip spreader was hardly the person to hear what Jake had to say... and now it looks that the town will boil over unless Molly does something drastic..."
