Announcer introduction: "All Molly's little domestic maneuvers were going along fine... and the wedding she had a hand in (the marriage of Mary Foote and Bruce Hanley) is about to take place at the village church... But Molly had her chores to do that morning... and now that Sammy is in the Army, milking was one of them... So Molly became a witness to something that is going to make a vast difference in the days to come... She saw a child playing in the road... and a car came by and there was a scream. And now a few hours later... Listen..."

Announcer close: "The two women comfort the child and Mickey stands aside and sees the whole war symbolized before him... but Molly doesn't quite realize what he's stirring up in Lastenbury."
