UCLA Film & Television Archive is pleased to partner with the Million Dollar Theater to bring specialty motion picture entertainment to Downtown Los Angeles. Opened in 1918, the Million Dollar Theater, the first theater built by legendary entrepreneur Sid Grauman, has presided over Broadway for nearly a century as a home to vaudeville, live theater and film. The Archive is proud to become a part of this legacy with a Wednesday night screening series of classic and popular films.
Tickets for Archive screenings at the Million Dollar Theater are $10 general and $9 students/seniors. (UCLA student free ticket policy does not apply.) Tickets are available at the Million Dollar Theater box office only. Theater box office opens an hour before program start time. The Million Dollar Theater is located at 307 South Broadway Ave. For more information, please visit www.milliondollartheater.com.
The Archive would like to thank the Los Angeles Historic Theatre Foundation for its support of this series. This series is funded, in part, by the Hugh M. Hefner Classic American Film Program.
Please note: There will be no Archive programming at the Million Dollar Theater in June. We encourage you to visit www.laconservancy.org for more information on “Last Remaining Seats,” the Downtown classic film series playing throughout the month.
